The SBR is discussing whether or not to ban Meta-Knight or not.

My input -

Meta-Knight's Strengths

- Low knockback = easy combos
- More than 3 kill moves, all extremely fast
- Top Priority
- Top Attack Speed
- Has no bad match-ups
- One of the best recoveries
- Spammable attacks
- Almost no lag time after attacks
- Can glide

Meta-Knights Weakness

- Lightweight.

Who cares if MK is light weight, ya gotta hit him first!

I dont see why you should ban Meta, He can still be defeated somehow.

ya i dont think he should be banned, you just have to camp him. Or you could be diddy kong, thats one of mk's only counters.

um no, diddy doesnt counter meta. Lol, diddy only stands a chance on FD.

The issue is that the only character that can compete with PROFESSIONAL mk's are other mk's. So this means that everyone maining someone other than mk needs to pick up mk to beat mk. And after a while that person realizes that mk is better in every possible situation, and they start to use mk more and more until mk because their main. And if this happens on a widespread scale all there will be are metaknight players.

no meta does definitly not deserve a ban, no character does. there is a way around beating a meta and if you just give up and complain like a noob you will never be able to beat it. just like my samus, people hate when i spam to get space, if you hate it why do you always try the same tig over and over again for me needing to use my Zair, its easy to get around just takes patiance and timings which i kno is extremly hard in lag. but lucky for you i have a horrible connection myself, most times i have horrible BLand my opponent has none. As much as id love to complain and make johns about i dont cuz in december everything will be fine and agless fr those who havent heard... anyway im going off topic. Metaknight does not deserve a ban he is a great char, so was marth in melee but noone wanted a ban because in melee if you spammed people could get around it much easier so people wouldnt get annoyed. now that people do get annoyed johns are being made and this is the biggest one you ill probaly ever see. banning a char cuz they dont want to face it.

Yeah but this is turning into the "Be Fox or Die" movement from Melee.

The only reason why Fox wasn't banned in Melee was because he could be gimped. Meta-Knight cant be gimped

If you ban him that takes away ,more than half the players at Tourneys Exclamation

Of course MK mainers will be given a notice so that they can develop with a new character/

So wont there be Better competition at tourneys.. Twisted Evil

Facing 5 identical Meta-Knights isn't really good competition. Its annoying.

Im saying by banning MK there will be better competition

no this is stupid, i beat metas all the time, ive 3 stocked a meta without taking any damage at the last tourny i was in on AiB, all he did was spam nado Uspecial and Dsmash he hit me a few times the first match but it is really easy to get around. Just its stupid i find. you can beat it if you train against it.

TAC we aren`t even considering noob Metas since they`re easily beatable

well i dont think he deserves one as much as i would like to see one lol!

a professional meta that knows metas flaws and strengths against each character and knows deal with every character and knows what to do in every situation cant be stopped. when i face kolbie i often find the only move i get in a lot is links aaa combo. he is too fast for me to jab cancel so i just stick with aaa. meta vs link is quite possibly the worst matchup in the game outside of pika vs fox. taking meta out would give me more of a chance for me to do better Basketball

i know just dont let meta vs link in tourneys and other competitive play Smile

Meta-Knight vs almost anyone is gonna be a hard match for the other character, even if the match-up is claimed as neutral.

even so i face master raven and he is not so bad, he is agood player but there is a way around his playstyle. There is a wa behind everyone's playstyle, banning meta is dumb, i think that the people who cant beat meta so they decide to ban him ar lazy pricks.

link vs meta is 20:80 so there is no real way to beat meta with link unless spam the hell out of boomerang. everyone is gonna have to start using meta in order to be good. they should rename the site all is meta Mad

well if thats what i takes to win then spm the hell outta boomarang. matchs are never based on chance numbeslike these. only the strong survive in smash not people who think that its random to win.

Link vs Meta is 20:80? Wow i never knew i could've been that bad.
